and I’m bananas.
I am a creator, collaborator, coach, and lover of all things “weird.”
In part, because the unique, eccentric, and odd things that people do really interest me; But also because those traits come from a place that is authentic and genuine.
Most people don’t choose to be different; Most, want to blend in. I wasted so much time trying to say the right things, be professional, and come across as polished as possible.
The truth is, the moment that I decided to “be myself” was the moment I started to garner real engagement online. That is when it clicked:
Being yourself is the differentiator.
Being yourself makes you stand out in a crowd.
With experience across multiple platforms, industries, and customer profiles, I have built high level skills in video, graphic design, production, and editing, as well as their implementation in social media and email marketing.
For most of my professional career, I have used social media to benefit my businesses. Most recently, I worked to relay the complexities of mortgage lending to my network using social media, podcasting, newsletters, email campaigns, and more. The challenge of grabbing and holding a user’s attention on social media, with the meat of my content being a mortgage related call to action, forced me to be creative, consistent, and flat-out better.
As time went on, I started to notice and take stock of how many compliments, comments, and eventually requests for help, that I received about my content.
That is when it became clear that I had something of value, and that is when I created Banana Bread Media Co.
